The Capital Region has a robust night scene. A big contributor to all the fun that goes on locally are the areas live music venues. Here is a list of the most popular.
Capital Region Concert Venue #1:
Cohoes Music Hallhttps://www.thecohoesmusichall.org/Cohoes Music Hall is a vintage music hall located at 58 Remsen Street in Cohoes. It is a four-story brick building in the Second Empire architectural style. Built in 1874, it is considered the best example of that style in the city, with an unusually decorative front facade. I saw a Dead and Company show here a few years ago. I loved the olde school vintage charm. This venue is great if you want an intimate setting.

One of the areas favorite old school theaters and the coolest! The seating is great and offers fantastic visibility from nearly every seat in the theater.

Saratoga Performing Arts (SPAC)https://spac.org/Saratoga Performing Arts Center is a large amphitheatre located in Saratoga Springs, New York, on the grounds of Saratoga Spa State Park. It presents summer performances of classical music, jazz, pop and rock, country, comedy, dance, opera, as well as a Wine & Food Festival. SPAC is unique like no other. Nestled in the beautiful Saratoga State park, visitors enjoy the option of viewing a show inside or outside where they can bring a lawn chair and blanket making it great for families as your kids can be free to roam around as you listen to live music.

Upstate Concert Hall Located on N Pearl St in Albany Upstate Concert Hall provides an Intimate personable experience. Its a smaller venue allowing great access to the stage and not a bad seat in the house.

Times Union Center https://www.timesunioncenter-albany.com/Located on S Pear St in Albany. The areas largest arena with a capacity to accommodate over 17,000 people. People are drawn to the Times Union Center from all over. It is where you can see A list acts.
Capital Region Concert Venue #6:
Putnam Placehttps://putnamplace.com/ Located in Saratoga Springs Putnam Place features a full-blown live music experience. The musical lineups at Putnam Place include; local, regional and national (touring) acts.
